- Mission: Create long distance multimodal barging corridors
For the Austrian Government we have analysed the possibilities of combining main corridors (Rhine river, Rhine Main Danube Channel and the Danube River) to create long distance multimodal barging corridors to/from the Ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp throughout Europe.
The study resulted in a major shift from road transport to a multimodal combination of road, rail and barge transport solution for Global Forwarders and Shippers.
