PORT OF SOHAR

One of the directors of BKJ SOLUTIONS has, on behalf of the Port of Rotterdam, been instrumental to developing and implementing an Industrial Park based on the use of Natural Gas together with the Government of Oman.

This Industrial Park is situated in the Port of Sohar and covers a Port/Industrial area of more than 10,000 ha.So far, the total investment of private and public (governmental) parties is more than US$ 10 billion and a variety of industrial activities in combination with port activities are established in the Industrial Park of the Port of Sohar. This development has been regarded as one of the most successfull Industrial and Port developments in the Middle East and is a good example of a Public Private Partnership (PPP).
